As an estimator, appraiser, and insurance adjuster for years We've seen our fair share of weather events and worked tirelessly after Matthew, Irma, Florence, Michael and Ian.

 

But finally, had enough.

 

The constant phone calls from frustrated homeowners were more than anyone person with a heart could bear. These phone calls were filled with anger and confusion filled questions asking why the insurance companies were settling the way they were.  Their concerns were real and difficult to hear.

 

These phone calls were heartbreaking. Families waited for many months sometimes over a year for this claim to go through only to find out it’s not what they anticipated.

 

Morally we could no longer be on this side of the insurance company through the claims process.

 

Fighting the insurance companies on behalf of these families seemed to be the only choice.
